For everyone – even those without a festival pass! – we are opening the backyard of the Feuerwehr Viktoria for our release aperitif on 20 March at 6 p.m. We look forward to discussing the festival with friends and fans. Join the gang!
Wir setzen unser Engagement für Barrierefreiheit, Inklusion und Care fort und bieten den zweiten „Access Crash Course“ für Fachleute aus den Bereichen Theater und Tanz in der Schweiz an. Der einwöchige Workshop, der während des Festivals (11.–17. Mai) stattfindet, vermittelt praktische Werkzeuge, eine gemeinsame Sprache und praxisorientierte Ansätze, um Aufführungen für ein vielfältiges Publikum zugänglich zu machen. Jetzt bewerben!

The Lehrer*zimmer, or Lehri for short, serves as the festival centre, hub and venue, as well as an aua pub and later a place to grab a bite to eat. We look forward to cosy game nights, heart-warming concerts, artist talks, Syrian food and Lehri's favourite drinks, exciting readings and great parties!

The manifesto! The work of auawirleben Theatre Festival Bern is based on the manifesto ‘Art is no excuse’. excuse’. With this manifesto, we want to take more responsibility for a mindful interaction with each other and the environment. The manifesto was created under the the premise that all participants should organise the festival together and that everyone's needs the needs of all are respected.
